Nutshell

*sigh* what a busy week.
This week excersise was a joke as I was busy
everyday.
On monday I picked up a shift mid afternoon
and by the time I was done I was exhausted
really for no apparent reason seeing as it was only 3 1/2 hours long.
Tuesday I had school then some girls came over from the bible study
then we went to the bible study.
Wow I don't even remember wednesday.
Thursday I had school then I worked then I came home changed
ran to walmart came home and packed and went to bed.
Friday I was at church by 7:35am to head to camp smith for
the weekend.
Yes it was a busy week and tommorow I have a test
that I have not even began studying for yet, that is todays project
well that and working.
I need to get back on my excersising regime.
The weekend was really good and relaxing and tiring all rolled into one.
We are heading up to Portage this summer like we always do
for our outreach trip (this is our third summer going up there)
and this weekend was for planning that week and in my opinion it went well
God worked in each ministry group and as a whole we
all got along really well.
Being a YA leader was diffrent then just being one of the teens going up there
I felt more responsibility and felt like a I took more on.
I was also way more critical of myself
there are a lot of things I want to change about me before the trip.
There were many good moments but one of my favorites
was on friday night;
Me and Elise decided to go down to the dock it was a nice night out and
who doesn't love being by a lake whenever possible.
Dan was fishing.
The sun was just finishing setting so the sky was dark with random streaks of peach
there weren't to many bugs.
We stood there watching him cast and real in for a while
before we started asking him questions about fishing
since we knew nothing about it we had a lot
and he answered everyone of them.
We then started talking about how much we hated mosquitos and
how we wondered if they were in Eden.....
It was calm and relaxing and normal.
One thing I learned this weekend is that I love getting
to know people better.
Not like surfacy things but the things that make up who they really are
we had to share a story like a God story of hope, grace, salvation
how we see Him as real, where he has helped us out ect.
it was like getting a little peice of everyones heart.
Getting to know the real them.
The weekend was awesome I think our team will be great this summer.
Though the whole weekend I was asking God to help me fight off
an overwhelming feeling of missing him.
It was like I just expected to look around the circle and see him sitting there
or that he would show up.
I wanted to hear a story from him see if God is working in his life
or more rather can he see places where God has worked in his life.
But he wasn't there wouldn't show up and won't be around all summer
and everytime I was plagued with that feeling
and I asked God to help he medicated it to a dull throb.
Well I need to get moving I hear my Anatomy notes calling out to me.
Much love....
